As we move through the layers of the land our sense of the karmic patterns which make up our lives gradually loosens it’s grip on the rigidity of a single lifetime, and we begin to see the patterns as shapes in the sands of time, etchings between the Stars and the Soil that exist in the Akasphere of the Tree of Life.

From a traveler’s perspective, the sands of time exist beyond the upper triad of the Tree, closer to the formlessness from which all form is born. They are the place where our sense of form itself retains some grounding yet is fluid, where lives and selves and the civilizations that they live within are recognized as what they are, impermanent constructs in the endlessly changing shape of the Creation herself.
