Sculpting the self

In Techniques by Peter Fae

What does it mean to sculpt the self?

In Akasha Yoga, we approach manifestation from a sculptural perspective. In which we witness the subtle energies that make up our realities and learn to work with them, softening our attachment to a previous ‘ego’ so as to shift into a new realm of being.

As a yoga of change, it is fundamentally about shifting from one arrangement of personality to another on a vibrational level. Yet in order to do this properly, we must be able to distinguish the vibrations that exist within our current shape.

When we approach the self-transformation in a sculptural way, recognizing that the elements of our reality are made of particular patterns in our body, it helps us to conceptualize the textures of those elements .

Here, we cultivate discernment of the very unique signatures of the subtle vibrations within the Akasha that make up our current reality, tracking those to the points on our body of which we are aware.

As we  deepen our sense and awareness of this subtle matrix of our current self, we cultivate a relationship of changing the surface tension of our self-attachment such that we may transform, and become a new shape.
