Gaiman’s American Gods suggests the vibrational substance of gods persists in objects and belief. The Mythica goes further: sanskaric impressions of mythic lineages are embedded in the land itself. Peter’s Quest produced multiple ‘American Gods’ circumstances — people embodying specific archetypal frequencies: Hjeron O’Sidhe (Viking), Adrienne Awen (elvish bard/lover), Dakota Chanel (Magdalene/love avatar), Jesse Wynden (elvish lord), Cassandra (Norse seeress), LeFaye (Celtic/Arthurian). The Pacific Northwest journey (2007) produced a morphogenic succession: elves at Mount Elphinstone, trolls with Mac (one of seven artists who built the Troll King sculpture in Seattle), dwarves at Pike Place Market — all in sequence as Peter moved south. The American Gods lightning photograph: Peter shot a snapshot of a lightning bolt while feeling the storm resonance — it matched the cover of American Gods.
