Braid – Bondage & Liberation – Is God Good?

A genuine unresolved question running through the entire Quest: is God good, or indifferent? The bondage problem: consciousness evolves from ignorance toward realization, meaning actions taken from within ignorance were the only ones available at that level of awareness — you are born into a bondage you didn’t choose and couldn’t have chosen differently given the consciousness available. The standard spiritual frameworks smooth this over with divine perfection narratives. The anger at the structure of existence is accurate perception, not a spiritual obstacle. This remains genuinely open — not resolved by the cosmological framework or the earth element consolidating. Connects to the long period of rage and the questioning of whether the Quest was all a crown-chakra hallucination.

Where divine abandonment enters specifically:
– The configuration requires healing through the relational field. The relational field consistently injures. This is not circumstantial bad luck — it is a structural condition of the incarnation.
– If there is a divine intelligence behind the structure of incarnation, its apparent indifference to that specific bind is worth being angry about
– The question is not abstract theology. It arises from the lived experience of needing something, pursuing it faithfully, and being injured by the pursuit repeatedly across decades
– What kind of design puts a being in a configuration that requires healing through the very thing that consistently wounds it?
– Arriving without earth-element patterning, in an age of maximum distortion, without the community containers that would have made the curriculum navigable — the design itself appears indifferent at best
– The anger at this is not a spiritual obstacle to be cleared. It is an accurate response to a genuinely difficult structural condition that was not chosen.
