I had an opportunity to travel through Yellowstone on a journey to the east coast, early spring, mid-morning and traffic was very slow, rounded a corner and there, sharing the road, was the local herd of American Bison making their way, in near single file, crisscrossing around and with the cars. The cars rolled at a slower speed then the strolling groups; they looked a bit like tourists themselves, groups of adults and juveniles, including a few recently born calves. I felt escorted in a grand procession, gifted with the miraculous continuation of their line. The greatness of their beingness with the land, one from the arctic circle to the Rio Grande, from California to New York. Range, with deep integration with feminine earth, yin and Gaian forces, balanced by strong mainline. The bison of North America hold sacred space as few other animals in the world, they are connection to source, they walk the path of divinity, as the cow is sacred in many cultures of the old world, this cousin is in its wild way.BuffaloAbundance, Faith
