Finding Victory

Coming back from the writer’s workshop with XXXXXX?, I feel that I must acquire some kind of vehicle. Something inexpensive, yet able to traverse the realms. Unlike Calliope’s Dream, I want something small, yet with a bed in the back. Inspired by the van I see at XXXX-girl-who-watched-North ’s place, I begin searching for such a thing. This leads me to encounter ‘Beast’, a mechanist suggested to me by an ally on Facebook, who comes with me on the jaunt to receive this new vessel for traversing the realms. A ship I shall call, ‘Victory’.

Beast and I travel eastward from the City of Portals, to a remote farm. Here we find the ship I shall name ‘Victory’, a 1987 Chevy Getaway Van with an inclusive bed …
