I have never been to such a place before, where the atmosphere of devotion is so strong …

The Ashram of Sai Baba

Yet while the rippling tones throughout the culture were alien to me, the sense of something happening across the field of consciousness was clear.

Something had happened.  I could feel it from the rooftop.  My consciousness shifted, and I had more access to my powers.

Later I would find out that at that moment Sai Baba had manifest a lingham out of the substance of the Creation, and I had felt the ripples of it's effects moving across the ethers of the town from the rooftop of my hotel

As I walk down the street my eyes are led to a sign proclaiming that control of one's speech is one's best ornament and armament, a proclamation of the local guru Sai Baba.

The level of poverty is intense, with barely constructed buildings and a longing for support from the people, yet the children are precious and precocious, excitedly wondering about who I am, about where I am going and what I am to do.

I give them money of course. Flush with the energies of the inheritance I am overflowing with the ability to help – which I do.

It feels like a shimmering, a waving ripple across the sky
