I find my way to the HanaHaus, remembering that Hana Mana meant ‘work on the land’ during the ‘Hana Mana’ episode of the Journey Home, and book open-seat coworking for $4/hour for 2 hours. The fact that it exists INSIDE a theatre, inside the vibrational impressions of Story and the pulse of emergent businesses is a beautiful thing.
It’s a gesture, really. An invocation of working in the realms of both Story & Sales, of moving deeper into the realms of production, connecting the stories of the people, presenting a visual viewpoint on the mystical octaves of Life and what it means to be on the heroic journey. While I could have done this from home, there’s a certain sense of initiation, a feeling of moving into the emblems of another world, of working within the context of the pulse of information in the modern myth that I love.
That being said, it’s a luxury as I could just as easily work from home, the library, or in the free seating along the same internet as the inner sanctum where I write from in the Now. Yet as with all things mystical, it’s the vibrations of the environment, both within and without, that matter most.
I remember at the academy, when the people of the circle would practice rituals, play music and the like, that it was the etching of a pattern in the ethers, the initiatory act of doing something in the frame of a thing. In this, it’s the being-in-the-coworking-space that matters alongside it’s happening in a converted theatre, all of which fits within the context of the Great Story.
I consider my morning – awakening in the new space, having a greater mindfulness around my body and the journey into health and wholeness. It’s meaningful in the underlands, as the appearance of such thoughts (as well as the SINGING that came out of me this morning!) is realmsign of that movement, of the journey towards a new way of being, a new shape of the self and IS the very reason why I created the Mythica in the first place
