"Shangri Lafayette"

2003-10-13
By Christina’s graciousness I am granted sanctuary at a mythical keep atop a hillside protected by a millennial and Great Oak.

She calls it ‘Shangri-Lafayette’, and it is a place of magic, thick with the scent of Story.
Christine’s magic with film is strong. A deep intelligence and sense of community that pours through her. While at the time we moved through the clash and drama of the resolving self, in time I would come to recognize her as a priestess of Story, meeting me in sacred arrangement in the mythic underlands of the Mythica.
It is a difficult time, where I do not feel comfortable in the space, and am constantly striving to understand the nature of the material plane.
Yet solace exists, in the form of a centennial Oak Tree, who stands guard outside my window, her presence grounding the space with ancient knowing.
THE INVOCATION OF WORDS
"The Locus of your Focus is what gives you Hocus Pocus"

Vogel arrives, making his way through the City of Clouds. It is always good to see him, feeling the flush and flurry of our shared Fire. Creativity abounds between us, energizing the space with our natural magic.

The fields changed when he opened the glass, reminding me of the photo I had witnessed during our time in Great York. A sense of inspiration moved through me in a wash of sensations which I would, in time, come to recognize as the essence of archetype. How every opening window was an opening, how every door was a portal, how every word was a song.

Yet what are all these ideas of astrology, of the stars defining the shapes of our stories? How do such things occur in the sacred mirror, and why?
Cracks in the Keep

There energy was not always harmonious, where patterns were in resolve, and we both felt unsafe within our own sanctuary. Such was a pattern that would play out many times on the Quest.
Here, I would see the elemental patterns of the archetypes playing out with each. Having a gradual divination into the healing that we share as it plays out through our many stories.
