“Vikingsholm”

"Vikingsholm" – July 29, 2007

I did not know what awaited me as North and I made our way down to the edge of Emerald Bay.  Like so many aspects of the quest, I simply followed the scent of the colors, that which led me forward in my explorations of the world of synchronicities and story.

It was a very early casting of the Mythica invocation to document the real-life journey into the magical world, yet was meaningful nonetheless, the seeds of the concept that would grow into the portal between the layers of the world.

Here I saw what had come through American Gods once agian, the idea that the vibrational impressions in the akasha which were the cultures and significances of cultures were imprinted into the objects of that culture, carrying the memory of stories in the very stones.

Yet while this was fascinating, what was of greater significance to me was that I had sensed the ambience of the Norse and Celtic energies far before I had discovred Vikingsholm and where my naming of 'Tahingaard' as a district of Asgard manifest through what was called Lake Tahoe had both precedence and relevance ….

It was the scent of Asgard, and the impressions of vibrations across the akasha which manifested in the plane of form.  I could sense it, the same texture, the same feeling and geography in the lands below the land.

Following the scent of myth, I wandered towards the vibrational tones I was feeling in the land.

Again I had the feeling that I was living the life of an American God, made from the very myths of old and new in the material plane.  There was the sense of living in multiple worlds simultaneously, of timelines and textures shifting and changing in a landscape of colors beneath the surface of the land.  Here I felt so intensely what Neil Gaiman was speaking into, that the memories of a place and it's gods are wrought into the very stones, into the shape of their art and architecture, and that their very presence was part of a larger set of impressions that lasted longer than the lives of the people who brought them.

I had the sense that we were explorers together, North and I.  That we were moving through the memories of Asgard, a pair of American Gods moving through the vibrational impressions of peoples and places transported into a new land.
