Shadows and Sadness

The pain is so constant.  The depression, the darkness, the rainfall.  I feel shunned and unloved by the community.  Barely capable of getting out of bed, I walk lonely paths by the Water, with only my beloved North by my side ….It is here that I am almost out of hope once more.  Where I ask the Universe to send me a sign, and receive a vision, to listen to someone called ‘Michael Beckwith’It is a very difficult time as the shadows are crushing me from within. Isolated, rejected and disgruntled, I am alone save for the presence of my beloved wolf as I make my way across the depths of the Shadows around family, fellowship and connection ….Everything was deeply oppressive in this place, where I felt ignored and isolated from what i’d hoped was a welcoming community after my isolation in the mountains. Sadness and darkness were my companions, save for the radiant light of my familiar, relentlessly by my side across the Dark Forests of the Mythica.

It is during this time that Sifu Boggie appears again in the field, helping me to move through the energies through the radiance of Qi that is his essence.

Paths of Shadow

It is a very difficult time as the shadows are crushing me from within. Here, North’s fur glowed in the darkness, leading me forward through the sullen trees of that inner place, holding me steady through the storms.It seemed as though the dark and the cold would never relent as we walked the path next to the flowing river, my face huddled for warmth from the mist.It is at this time that I first encounter the teachings of Michael Beckwith, discovering his emanation of the “Life Visioning” practices whilst praying for assistance through the deep Shadowlands of my journey, occurring during my time in the dark winter rains of Gresham, Oregon.

That is the tone. I could feel it. The aspect of the angelic chorus, singing the song of freedom. The light was clear, even through the muddy shadowscapes of the Mythica.I felt forsaken, stumbling through places of doubt and despair. Where I felt uninvited by the firesides, along in a fortress of solitude.Yet even in this, there was hope. I was not alone. Not truly. My wolf was by my side, sleeping with me on the furs and cushions. Helping me to make my way into the northern territories of the Mythica.I felt like Atreyu from the Neverending Story, moving through a realm of sadness. Where I simply could not navigate, so heavy were the weights upon my heart.
