Coordinates of Consciousness

Understanding the landscape of one’s legend means looking at their Path and it’s Land in a spatial way. It means coming to see the different dimensions of consciousness that we experience in our lives as coordinates within a map, each with their own qualities and quantities that define our position on the surface and subtle planes of the earth.

The Coordinates Consciousness: A Simplified Overview

The Coordinates of Consciousness represents the intersection of inner space and outer space, helping us understand how our experience is shaped by our position in both. This concept centers on the idea that the vertical and horizontal lines of awareness meet at the centerpoint of our experience, where subjective and objective realities converge.

1. The Vertical Line: Inner Space and Alignment

  • Definition: The vertical line represents your internal alignment—the arrangement of your chakras, your spiritual awareness, and your connection to higher consciousness and the Earth.
  • Top of the Line: Your connection to the Divine, higher realms, and the Akasha (the field of all possibilities).
  • Bottom of the Line: Your grounding into the material world, the Soil of the Earth, and the roots of your being.
  • Purpose: Reflects your alignment between spirit and matter, higher purpose and physical reality.

2. The Horizontal Line: Outer Space and Movement

  • Definition: The horizontal line represents your movement across the geography of your life, the outer, objective world, and your journey through space and time.
  • Example: Walking a forest trail, moving through a city, or navigating your life path—all are expressions of this horizontal movement.
  • Purpose: Reflects your experience of the physical world and your interactions with the environment around you.

3. The Centerpoint: The Cross of Awareness

  • Definition: The intersection of the vertical (inner) and horizontal (outer) lines is the centerpoint of consciousness—the space where inner awareness and outer reality meet.
  • Inner Space: Your thoughts, feelings, and subjective experience of life.
  • Outer Space: The physical world, your surroundings, and the material plane.
  • Purpose: The centerpoint shows that your position in space—both inner and outer—is what creates your unique experience of reality.

4. Stars and Soil: The Connection Between Realms

  • Stars of the Akasha: Represent the infinite possibilities of consciousness, the higher realms, and the movement of energy through your inner alignment (chakras).
  • Soil of the Material Plane: Represents the grounded reality of your existence, your physical body, and the land you move through.
  • Key Insight: The alignment of your chakras and your position in the material world are one and the same. You experience both realms simultaneously, as your inner and outer journeys are interconnected.

5. Living in the Coordinates of Consciousness

  • Be Present: Recognize that your unique position in space—both inner and outer—is the center of your experience.
  • Align Inner and Outer: Practice grounding (connecting to the Soil) while staying open to higher inspiration (connecting to the Stars).
  • Observe the Connection: Notice how your inner state reflects in the outer world and how your outer environment influences your inner reality.

Key Takeaway

The Cross of Consciousness teaches that our position in space—inner and outer, subjective and objective—defines our reality. By becoming aware of this centerpoint, we can align our chakras, connect the Stars to the Soil, and move through life with greater harmony and purpose.
