2010-1-1 – "The MacArthur Spellbook"

"… Following the connection with Elisa MacArthur, I make my way towards Santa Fe, in what is called the “Land of Enchantment”, continuing my journey to understand the nature of the landscapes of legend. Having gained more knowledge over the structure of the self, I continue my inquiries into the nature of what I am and why my experience of life has been so different from the majority of the people I have met …"

The McAthur Spellbook

In her graciousness, Elisha’s family offers me sanctuary in their adobe home within the city, giving me the time to acclimate to my surroundings. As I approach, I see the totem of a golden violin on their front door, radiating with the tones of the deva of music and story.

I am given sanctuary with the bardic guild, the impressions of the deva of music and melody playing out in the form of clan McArthur, where I encounter another tome of natural law in the form of ‘Why your life is the way it is and what you can do to change it” ….

Wishing to unravel the mystery of my self in this World, I continue my journey into the arts of Ayurveda, receiving a divination from a prominent adept …

The McArthur Spellbook

As it turns out, the MacArthur family holds more than simply the gift of sanctuary and the shared bardic energy.

Elisha informs me that her grandfather Bruce McArthur had written a book on Universal Laws, which detailed his idea of the physics of manifestation and their proof.

This intrigued me deeply. Both because it reflected the intention of my journey and because it came to me through the Scottish avatars in the realms of Story and Song.

I wondered at the question, why was I led to a household of Scottish bards, just as I had studied the Faerie arts from a Scotland lineage? Why were these avatars in possession of a spellbook which answered the questions on my Quest?

Through the field of vibration, I could feel a weaving, a confluence of energies that was continuing to inform my journey.

Readings of the Veda

"The Goddess will be your teacher"

Balancing Fire

Like the invocation that brought me into alignment with North four years previous, the movement towards healing is vibrational, with the outer forms acting as symbols of focus for my effort. Here, I gather the four elements into my awareness, holding the qualities of Earth, Air, Water and Fire in my mindseye. From there, I flow the distorted sensations in the field into the paper, burying it, and the inner question, into the cleansing ground.
