In the context of the Mythica, everything we do is a spell, or to put it differently, a construct of consciousness. It’s the idea that ideas themselves have a solidity to them. A subtle, difficult-to-feel-as-a-solid-thing kind of solidity, but something real. Something that has mass. And when we’re talking about the subtle physics of manifestation, how much mass something has also defines how much gravity it is. How much influence it has on the physical world.

This isn’t as esoteric as it might sound. Remember, things are made of things, and certain things in certain combinations do something. For the Mythica to exist, she had to be invoked … ritually created and re-created over and over and over again. It was a process of building, of accumulating enough etheric impressions for the idea to manifest through the world.

On the surface of perception, it looked like me sitting at my desk for hundreds, no-let’s-be-real thousands of hours, working and reworking the medley of apps, tech support, experimentation on wordpress and endless rewrites to create, yet in the subtle planes of existence, in the ethers which make up all form, I was crafting a spell. A focused intention designed to do something in the world.
