Timespace is the Mythica's term for the foundational three-dimensional coordinate system within which the mortal condition unfolds — the intersection of time, space, and dimension (also known as octave or frequency of vibration) that defines your position at any given moment in the fabric of the Great Story. In the context of the akasha and its expression through the World Tree, these three components form the basis both for your current locus point in the landscape of the underlands and for the synchronistic encounters with other aspects of the self and the Great Story that arrive along your timeline. While the deepest dimension of what you are — awareness itself — transcends the frameworks of time and space, the incarnate character is defined by them, and the thread of the timeline finds its meaning precisely within the progression that time makes possible.

Time in the Mythica's understanding is not an illusion to be transcended but the most important dimension of the mortal condition: the architecture through which events happen, the framework that gives the heroic journey its quality of progression, development, and genuine transformation over the arc of a lifetime. Without time, there would be no music, no rhythm, no melody — the canvas upon which the story of the soul can be heard and known would not exist. The spiritual traditions that speak of time as illusion point not to the non-existence of time but to a state of inner freedom from the unconscious patterning of karmic repetition that causes most beings to experience time as imprisoning rather than liberating. Space, in the context of timespace, refers not only to physical location but to the full range of subtle positions you occupy simultaneously at the material, mythospheric, mnemospheric, and akashic levels of the landscape of legend. The third component — dimension or octave — refers to the frequency of vibration at which you are currently operating: the more coherent and clarified the inner field, the higher the octave of experience accessible in any given moment of space and time. Together, these three coordinates of timespace provide the full map of any given position on the World Tree, and it is the tracking of how those coordinates change along the arc of the heroic journey that the Mythica's practice of sacred cartography is ultimately in service of.
