The Books of Fae

2011-11-25 – "Aerious"

"…Having returned from Kauai and separated from Ciardha, I take refuge and sanctuary in the fae borderlands of Livingwell in order to rest in the healing intelligence of the deva and make sense of what the Goddess said to me on the trail …"

Here once again I face my repeated difficulty with the Earth plane as I struggle to light a Fire, barely able to make sense of the physics.

The Shrine of Love

Livingwell speaks to me through the trees, showing the aspect of our shared shadows and light. How such brilliance moves outwards, forming the crown of our humility and humanity.

It is a beautiful vision, and I thank her for it, the recognition easing the tremors still rippling across my Heart.

Upon my return, I make my way to the Water shrine. The place of Aphrodite. Of loving the self …

The Sacred Yew

I am spent after the movement with Ciardha, the burns of our interactions still healing.  Kindly, McNutt offers me sanctuary in the faerie realm of Livingwell, deep in the enduring mists and rainfall that is the Deadwood forest ….

Exploring the Fall

Gift of the Sun

There is little energy to draw from the Sun beneath the endless mists and wet. I see so deeply why this place remembered me so to the fields of Scotland.

McNutt’s kindness is grand. The winter is a hermitage for him, and his offer of sanctuary is deep felt. As I recognize the state of his batteries, I realize I can offer resource of my own, and purchase him a new pair, bringing the Sun to the Winter.
