Once again, I find myself cleaning up the trash that humans leave on the planet.

Closing Shoppe

It is a time of major change as our teacher has decided to close the small upstairs office where she has been teaching the magic and holding ritual. As the Quiet Witch closes the door, I find the name of the building incredibly apropos. The “Skylodge”. A lodge in the Sky, from which we are divining the Earth.

I appreciate this place so greatly. The many hours of divination, the application of the ancient arts, the rituals, the laughter and the love.

Wizards, Muggles & the Multiverse

After closing the doors on the Academy’s former location, I make my way to the temple of Story, occurring on the surface plane as ‘The Bookshelf’ to bathe in the whispers of the tellings.

Here, I see an ad for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

It is a surreal moment for me. I had been so deeply immersed in the magic I had traveled to realms where I had forgotten that such things existed. As I approached the bookstore, I shifted, and feeling again the grounding cord of Story bringing me into resonance with the material plane.

As I enter the temple of Story that appears on the surface plane as the bookstore, I see an advertisement for the Harry Potter series.

From the perspective of my divinations, the confluence between my consciousness and the appearance of the Harry Potter books in the field is deeply significant. Though I love these kinds of books, I had been in such deep places of Faerie that I had literally forgotten that most humans regard magic as a thing of fiction rather than fact.

Lammas Runes

One of Cassandra's magics was related to the energies of fashion, of threads and weavings.  It played out all across the ethers of her reality, ranging from an uncanny ability to find objects at thrift stores to her divinatory abilities and employment selling high-end rugs.  It was a thing that permeated all the aspects of her story, and the object she was holding the runes in was no exception.

The Lammas Day

We all travel outside, finding our way to the fields of the Faerie forest over the threshold at the edge of the Academy’s land, where we gather items to make our Lammas day effigy as part of the ritual.
