"… Deeply intent on clearing the agitations and imbalance of Fire within my form, I make my way back to the deep mountains of Tahingaard, wielding the misogi meditations to cleanse myself in the icy Waters of the aina…."

Deeply intent on clearing the agitations and imbalance of Fire within my form, I make my way back to the deep mountains of Tahingaard, wielding the misogi meditations to cleanse myself in the icy Waters of the aina.

The energy continues to burn within me as I return from Scotland, intent on using the power of Winter and my relationship with the deva to clear my form. It isn’t an easy thing, by any means, yet I am driven, knowing that I must balance the elements within me in order to step into a new reality.

The Faerie Woods behind the Academy are the perfect place for the healing. At around 7000 above sea level and prone to vast snowfall, they retain a pristinity away from the pollution of human impressions where the cleansing voices of Nature may be heard.

The aina speaks to me. Once again, I call on the misogi meditation (which refers to the deva as the kami), dropping myself into the icy Waters to cleanse and clear, moving the Fire out of my form.
Once again, I was deeply thankful to the aikido, to the teachings of Sensei House and Sensei Bearish, who brought the idea of this practice into my field. I could see how it balanced me. How the very feminine practices of the Academy were met with a masculine assertion, all in relationships to the elements that made up our being.
