The shaping of the Story is a crucial part of one’s divination into their mythos. It’s the act of looking through the ethers, gazing into the akasha to feel into the energies that were already present along the timeline of our life and which reveal themselves, like seeds grown to bloom, in the fullness of our lives. For me, in this now, I find myself remembering when I first read the series “His Dark Materials”, when I first saw the idea of the Golden Compass, the Subtle Knife and the Amber Spyglass and how such things inspired the weaving of threads which created the Akashic Compass of the Mythica.
In the story the Golden Compass was a way of divining one’s path, while the Subtle Knife was a blade that could cut through the dimensions, and in this I envisioned something which acted as both a clarity of navigating and manifestation, aiding the people in recognizing the landscapes of their legend and what actions it took to shift between the worlds within the woods. As Authors in the Mythica, our privilege is to really look into our path, to see what has occurred for us in our unique thread of Fate and Fortune, and to discover the treasure that is our gift to the world through that sacred thing
