flickering realms

Flickering Realms are realities which exist briefly in the Commonwealth, appearing and disappearing like flickers of conscious light.  Such things commonly manifest as transformational festivals, workshops and gatherings in which a collective field is established that allows for deep inner transformational work.

One of my favorite examples of one of the flickering realms is that of Burningman, the archetypical festival which occurs once a year for a number of weeks in the desert playa of Blackrock.  In this I consider the idea of a magical city within a storybook, one that appears for only a brief amount of time where the many tribes gather to share their magics, and which more often than not requires a grand quest through difficult circumstances to reach.
