Progress continues deeply on the Mythica as I feel the spell unfolding! As always, the confluences around the moment of kairos are profound, with the substance of their aka defining the landscape of my story. As just last night Cassandra and I engaged in meditation space with Ariane Labyrinth, this afternoon we had a deep discussion over the nature of our selves across the Ages of the Great Story and how they related to the concept of the wheels and wyrds of time. In this, I had a remembrance, one that spoke to who I was in the Golden Age and what my purpose is today and it’s relevance within the community.
It’s interesting that Cassandra introduced me to the ‘Wheel of Time’ series recently as I have for a long time recognized that what empowers and ultimately seduces people to such stories is that they are in fact true stories of aspects of ourselves at different times and places, the writing tying into the underlying collective memory in a romance of nostalgia for days gone by and days come again, the very progression of which defines the journeys of the people across the Ages. In this context, as I have been building out the ‘Threads of the Weave’ portion of Mythica Comics, I was led to create images with Saga’s Wyrd which spoke to that transition and how that related to my mythos.
