Soon after my time with the Universal Heroes, I encounter another ally in the field who shares the mythos of the modern djedi and the taoist immortal. He presents himself as a Sifu, a style of teacher that also recognizes itself as a student. It is a deeply resonant concept with me, strumming the strings of my inner question over the nature of assertion and proclaiming oneself a teacher.
