2008-8-1 – "Faerieworlds"
"… The journey with the Mythmaker leads me to a new realm! Living so deeply in the magic in the mountains I had no idea that a place like Faerieworlds even existed! That so many beings from the realms of fae would find themselves in annual pilgrimage to this shared confluence of Worlds. …"

I have never even imagined such a place! It reminds me of the Faerie Market from ‘The Books of Magic’, where Tim Hunter is taken into the realms of Faerie.

As we approach, a marker arrives, expressing itself through the street sign upon the road. ‘Suttle’ and ‘Ridiculous’ unveils as ‘Subtle’ and ‘Ridiculous’, informing me as to the realm I am about to enter.
And she is beautiful, this Faerieworlds. To my fae eyes, it shines across the underlands of the Mythica, thick with threads of light and remembrance. Magic thrives in this place, pulsing through the trees in laughter and love

NOTE – Hjeron is strong with the here

This mythos, that there is a borderline between the realms of the mundane and that of faerie, is thick in the underpainting of Faerieworlds.

The journey with the Mythmaker leads me to a new realm! Living so deeply in the magic in the mountains I had no idea that a place like Faerieworlds even existed! That so many beings from the realms of fae would find themselves in annual pilgrimage to this shared confluence of Worlds.

The weaving of energies that make up this realm are profound. Reminding me so deeply of the Homelands.
Like Tahingaard, this “Faerieworlds” was a realm onto itself. A nexus-point of particular vibrations, all of which were emanations of a shared mythos, a river of light across the ethers which appeared on the surface plane at a certain locus in space and time. It was a flicker-realm, a moment of embodied mythology in it’s contemporary form. Seen from the depths of the Mythica, to arrive here after leaving the mountains and traveling with the Mythmaker was a further proof of the strings of synchronicity which make up our many worlds.
Consulting the Map

To be in the realms of Faerieworlds was a deep accomplishment, realmsign that I had come to yet another location in the world of the Mythica. Here I saw how my journey had led me to leave New York, to study the mystic arts in the mountains of Tahingaard (Tahoe), then to travel to the realms of the elves in Elphinstone and alongside the Mythmaker to this new place, flush with the avatars of Faerie, Herself. The movement through the Shadowlands that i’d experienced between Hjeron and myself had been challenging, and bore a heaviness on my heart, yet we had arrived in this majestic place, and I was flush with excitement on what adventures lay ahead.

Clan Froud

I am genuinely confused when I do not feel recognized in the depths by clan Froud. The tones of our essences sing so clearly for me across the underlands, I see them as a royalty of Faerie expressing itself through the surface of the Worlds.

Looking deeper, a wash of images moves across my consciousness. I see images of buildings, of plaster and makeup, lights and cameras, trappings of the human world.

Myths beneath the Masks

They are costumes, yes. Shapings of form made of the materials of the human plane.
Yet within this, my Fae sight reveals the truth. These forms, these mortal forms but the shadows… The expression of the true light of our mythical essence that bears the color of our soul.

Everything feels empowering in this place. Magical. All around me I see beings incarnating into their highest aspects, held aloft inside a bubble of kaleidoscopic energies.
This is the essence of the thing itself. The place where the shadows are revealed to be the children of the light. Of the wings of wonder that are our truest heritage, ourselves as the creatures of myth and legend. Such is what I saw in the twilight of Toby’s shadow, into the essence that lay beneath the surface of his shape.

The Faerie Market
I have never even imagined such a place! It reminds me of the Faerie Market the movie Stardust. All around, I feel the energies of the Fae, a whirlwind of subtle colors moving through a marketplace of magical goods.
It is so beautiful. In the Mythica, this place swirls with colors, occurring for me as the embodiment of the faerie market.

For he gazes at the world with eyes of light.

I make my way through the market. Like so many of the bazaar’s i’ve encountered on the Quest, it is a patchwork of artisans and avatars, flush with the scents and textures of their craft, mixing together across the underlands of the Mythica into a medley of mists and light.

I like this Bryonie. There is a sense of royalty about her, shaping through her fingers into the effigies of the fae as they occur to her.
