"The Wizard's Cottage" – November 25, 2020
The physics of the quest prove themselves once again as Joshua and I are invited by Cory’s gracious generosity to stay in the open rooms of his home, a sanctuary of green and grace he called “The Wizard’s Cottage”.
That such a place even existed and that we would be led through circumstance to it’s chambers was a sign and synchronicity, bringing us to a realm commensurate with our vibrational makeup. As we were magicians on Quest so had we been led to a sanctuary stewarded by our fellow seeker, nestled in the unlikely suburban streets of Clearwater, Florida.
“You’ll love the back yard” Cory says to us as he brings us through a mostly empty house. He explains that his roommates had left suddenly, leaving two rooms available, and will allow us to stay for a couple of nights whilst we get our bearing

Invocations of Wealth
It would be many years before I returned to the tarot as a means of divination. I saw it return in the field during my time at the Wizard's Cottage in 2020, through the inspiration of Carolyn Elliot and her Wealth academy (which she has by now rebranded as "Electric YES"). As it happened, it occurred flush with the symbolism of the rose, initiating my inquiry into this system which was so flush amongst the avatars i had met along the way.
Like all things, this played out elementally, the symmetry of inner and outer manifestations defining the kairos, the meaningful timing of the moment.
In stories, it is through the kairos of synchronicities that we divine what is happening. In this case, Joshua and I were at a place called. the'Wizard's Cottage', in a hidden gardenscape within a suburban sprawl with a single rose blooming within a natural gazebo. In such context, the receipt of the Thoth tarot and the movement into the Wealth academy played out in the Mythica as our reaching a place of sanctuary and connecting with the magicians of this Age, using the techniques expounded by their belief to gain smooth entry into their courtyard and conversation.
As this was my return to a more classic system of divination, I embraced the humility to delve into the nature of the system, the way the cards were defined and divined to see how it related to both my elemental training with LeFaye and my development of the Akashic Compass.
Upon skrying the suggestions in the Wealth academy I settled on a book called 'Understanding the Thoth Tarot' by Don Milo DuQuette, a scholar and practitioner of the hermetic arts.
Inspired, I redoubled my efforts to create a mystical journal that could show the relationship between one's divination and manifestation, to reveal the nature of our stories as we moved along the realms of the World Tree. Taking the inspiration from my daily divinations with the Thoth cards, I began creating journal entries which included both my divination of the cards and the presentation of the journey through the chroma of the rainbow road, citing the events of my journey with Joshua as proof.

The opening to dance is deeply magical for me. A reminder of times gone by, of the endless hours within the dance halls of New York city, moving through the energies that were churning through my body and soul.
